"At the concept store Nose, a boutique dedicated to niche perfumes in Paris' 2nd arrondissement, customers fill out a detailed questionnaire on their recent and past tastes in perfumes. "Thanks to algorithms based on 190 variables from our database, we can identidy the perfume that best corresponds to a customer's expectations", explains Nicolas Cloutier, one of the shop's seven founders.
