Traditionally, coffee is drunk : as black as night, as hot as hell, as sweet as love.

Some say the word "coffee" derives from an Arabic meaning "the dark one". What a fitting description of that ghostly pirate treasure-ship which forever silently cruises the Seven Seas : without wind or air, but with her empty sable sails drenched in perfume - and of spectral cutlasses still resounding from her decks.

Kilian weaves in, too, the dark and ancient concept of the Memento Mori : the death sits unseen beside us in this life.

The flower-wreathed skeleton at the feast which grins as it bids us enjoy the present; to seize the day; to gather rosebuds while we may. To enjoy life fully and wholly, just as we love perfume : reveling in a sensual but inescapably transient moment which can be remenbered and treasured - but never preserved. Will be available on April 15th.
